It Started at a Billy Strings Show
In February of 2024, I drove up to Asheville to visit my beekeeping friends Michelle and Tex. We spent the afternoon hanging out and catching up, and grabbing a great meal at this cool burger/sushi bento box place. That evening, I went to the Billy Strings show at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center. I ended up getting to the show super early and found my seat right next to Tom, who was also there super early. We struck up a conversation and wouldn’t you know it?! Tom is a beekeeper too! We had so much fun that night and danced to amazing bluegrass and just had a blast together. The next morning I woke up to a message from Tom and we started chatting more and more.
We Fell in Love!
It happened quickly but we both felt something that night we met. Tom came to Atlanta the next weekend, and we went to another Billy Strings show. We found it easy to talk and be together. More and more we found ourselves communicating, through texts and messages and even (gasp) phone calls! We laughed together and could talk about bees together, which is so much fun.
Fast Forward
Here we are, six months later and we have a logo and brand name, a new website and so much more to come! We are excited for this next phase in our lives and we thank you for following along on our journey!
